This month we received a beautiful collection of our signature pieces for restoration from a patron who had bought them nearly 20 years ago. While we always encourage our clients to appreciate the natural ageing of our leather and timbers, sometimes damage caused either by exposure to the elements or very hard and prolonged use means restoration is required. Even though the pieces needed recovering, we were delighted to find the frames beneath the upholstery were sound when we opened them up. Newly upholstered in leather, they have been sent back home to be enjoyed for many more years to come.

This process always brings us a lot of satisfaction and pride as it’s a testament to the quality of our work, which reflects our commitment to slow furniture whose design is truly timeless, which will last to be passed on to the next generation.
